How Does Sea Freight Work?

The process begins by selecting the appropriate service based on the cargo’s volume, weight, type and destination.

  1. 1

    Choose LCL or FCL

Smaller shipments may be consolidated as Less than Container Load (LCL), while larger shipments can use a Full Container Load (FCL).

  2. 2

    Book and clear for export

The booking is confirmed and export customs clearance is completed.

  3. 3

    Load at port

The cargo is transported to the port and loaded onto the scheduled vessel.

  4. 4

    Monitor the voyage

Its progress is monitored throughout the journey.

  5. 5

    Clear and deliver

Upon arrival, the shipment undergoes import clearance before being delivered to its final destination or transferred to the next stage of transportation.
